The relationship between occlusion and periodontal heath is an oft - debated topic. This course will discuss several questions: How does occlusion impact periodontal health? Are occlusal forces detrimental to the periodontal structures? What are the periodon tal signs of possible excessive occlusal forces? What role does occlusal adjustment play in periodontal therapy? The course will use available literature to support clinical conclusions.
