Auxiliary Members are: (1) residents and graduate students enrolled in accredited institutions; (2) registered, licensed dental technicians; or (3) doctorate-level practitioners or researchers in a related health field outside the USA.

Membership by application is the means of gaining entry into the Academy for all member classifications except Honorary.
