Dr. Hilligan is a 1972 Graduate of the University of Michigan Dental School, Ann Arbor, Michigan. During his four years at the University he was involved doing Research with Dr. James Avery in the field of Histology. He completed Advanced Restorative training with Dr. Robert Lee at the Lee institute for Oral Bioesthetics and Function in Grand Terrace California and then went on to train with Orognathic Bioesthetics International headed by Dr. Charles Wold in San Francisco, California, finishing in 1996. He was made a Faculty member of OBI in 1998 and is now Co-Director of this teaching Organization that has become a Charitable Non-Profit Organization called “The Foundation for Bioesthetic Dentistry.” Dr. Hilligan is now the Vice President of the Foundation and has been named to the Board of Directors.

 

Dr. Hilligan has a Private Practice in Portland, Michigan and is on the staff of Ingham Regional Hospital in Lansing, Michigan. He has lectured extensively in North America and Abroad and addresses the Topic of Advanced Restorative Bioesthetic Dentistry as well as Restorative Dentistry in Conjunction with Orthognathic Surgery.
